News News News

Well, it's been a while since I last updated this news section. So let me try to backfill some info:

I recently completed is the post audio for "Lucky Life." The whole process took about 3 months (with some time off in between for some other small projects) to complete all the sound design and editorial. The mix was done by Georgia Hilton at 1linemedia (www.1linemedia.com) and was print mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1.

While on set for the film I spent a lot of time recording original sound fx and ambiences. These became essential in the sound design of the film. I also spent a lot of time doing field recordings in brooklyn as well as many different beaches on the east and west coasts. This film is quite an achievement for me in that the sound track is comprised of almost entirely original audio, not sfx from a library.

Also completed recently is the latest animated short film from Bill Plympton called "Horn Dog," which is the fourth film is his highly regarded "dog series." This time our hero tries to woo a female companion, but disasterous results ensue.

Currently I'm on location for a film in Argentina called "Blues of Life." When I get some more pictures together I'll put up a post with some more info about the film.

Hasta Luego!
